Program Rationale and Aim
Bachelor of Arts in Theology program is designed to develop spiritually mature, ethically grounded, and socially engaged leaders with a strong foundation in Christian doctrine, biblical studies, and practical ministry. It combines academic rigor with training in pastoral care, ethics, and spiritual formation, while also opening pathways in education, counselling, community development, and research. Ultimately, it forms leaders capable of addressing complex societal challenges through contextual theology and contributing to national and continental development.

Admission Requirements
Applicants for Bachelor of Arts in Theology must:
- Have an Advanced General Certificate of Secondary Education: those who completed before 2024 need at least two principal passes, while those completing after 2024 must have a minimum cumulative average of 50%.
- Pass the English Proficiency Test as a requirement for Admission and graduation
- Applicants with academic qualifications obtained outside Rwanda must submit notarized copies of equivalency documents issued by the Higher Education Council (HEC) through http://irembo.gov.rw/
Mode of Study
Programs are offered through flexible learning options:
- Full-time daytime classes (BATh)
- Part-time suitable for working professionals (BATh)
